Collaborative Initiatives
The work of It Pays to Care is progressed in collaboration with our partner and supporter organisations.
The collaborative initiatives outlined below are some key examples of how we work with our partners.
IPTC x EML Mutual Benefits Program: Empowering unions and thought leadership
The It Pays to Care team is proud to collaborate with the EML Group (EML) for a program intended to equip union officials with the knowledge and tools necessary to advocate for worker well-being, drawing on the principles of the IPTC policy. Proudly funded through the Mutual Benefits Program, this partnership provides the opportunity to collaborate, share insights and recommendations to manage workplace injury management and build a safer workplace. The IPTC team also contributes to the EML employer training program, contributing insight from the IPTC policy.
The Mutual Benefits Program is funded by Employers Mutual Limited. Employers Mutual Limited is proudly part of the EML Group.
IPTC x PIEF: Bringing work injury management stakeholders together
It Pays to Care has a long and fruitful partnership with the Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF). In 2024, IPTC (with PIEF) hosted a symposium preceding PIEF's Personal Injury and Disability Management National Conference. WorkCover WA invited the IPTC team to join them in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Across two days, the team engaged with doctors, employers and rehab providers in Albany - hearing stories from the coalface and discussing the challenges and opportunities for improving work injury management. This was a great opportunity to ensure the conversation on effective and sustainable RTW outcomes includes voices from the regions.
